At a glance#
One name per concept, in both languages. The table is generated from the glossary file the documentation lint uses, so the pages and this list cannot disagree. Terms for features that are not live yet are left out.
Terms#

| API key | مفتاح API | The secret an app sends in the api360key header on every gateway call. |
| app | التطبيق | The unit that holds credentials and subscriptions. Registration creates one app for the stage environment and one for production. |
| callback | الاستدعاء الراجع | A provider-configured request from the platform to the provider's own URL, reviewed before it is enabled. Not the same as a platform webhook. |
| console | وحدة التحكم | The staff-only admin console (admin-ui). It is not where a consumer manages apps: that is done in the portal. |
| consumer | المستهلك | An organisation that subscribes to products and calls them through the gateway. |
| credential | بيانات الاعتماد | What an app uses to authenticate: an API key or HTTP Basic username and password. |
| credit note | الإشعار الدائن | A document that reduces or reverses an invoice. |
| deprecation | الإيقاف | The announced end of a version. Subscribers are notified and the version's routes are removed after the notice period. |
| endpoint | نقطة النهاية | One operation of a product: an HTTP method and a path. |
| Enterprise plan | خطة المؤسسات | The top platform plan. |
| Free plan | الخطة المجانية | The entry platform plan. |
| gateway | البوابة | The Kong layer every product call passes through. It checks the key, the subscription and the quota before the call reaches the provider. |
| invoice | الفاتورة | A billing document issued to an organisation for a period. |
| KYB | اعرف منشأتك (KYB) | Verification of a business, decided in the console. |
| KYC | اعرف عميلك (KYC) | Identity verification of a person, decided in the console. |
| marketplace | السوق | The public catalogue where products are browsed and subscribed to. |
| member | العضو | A person who belongs to an organisation and holds a role in it. |
| organisation | المنشأة | The business account that owns apps, subscriptions and invoices. People join it as members. |
| payout run | دورة الصرف | One run that pays providers what they earned in a period. The console also says settlement run in English. |
| plan | الخطة | The price and quota terms a product offers to subscribers. |
| platform fee | عمولة المنصة | The commission the platform keeps from a provider's revenue. The rate is set per provider. |
| platform plan | خطة المنصة | The plan an organisation holds on the platform itself (Free, Standard, Enterprise), separate from product plans. |
| playground | بيئة التجربة | The in-browser tool on a product page that sends a test call. |
| product | المنتج | An API published on the marketplace by a provider, with versions, endpoints and plans. |
| Production | بيئة الإنتاج | The live environment, where real data and real payments are processed. |
| provider | المزوّد | The organisation that publishes products. Cards and URLs call this audience vendor; the product UI and the docs say provider. |
| quota | الحصة | A ceiling on calls: a subscription quota for a product, and optional endpoint quotas for single endpoints. |
| request ID | معرّف الطلب | The id the gateway returns in the X-Kong-Request-Id response header. Quote it when you contact support. |
| Sandbox | Sandbox | The test environment: calls go to the provider's staging service or to mock responses, with a key of its own. |
| settlement | التسوية | The process and the register that match what was billed, paid in and owed. |
| Standard plan | الخطة القياسية | The middle platform plan. |
| Studio | الاستوديو | The provider's workspace in the portal where products are created, versioned, priced and published. |
| subscription | الاشتراك | An app's right to call one product under one plan. A call only succeeds on a product the app is subscribed to. |
| version | الإصدار | A numbered release of a product. Its major number appears in the gateway path as /v{major}/. |
| volume tier | الشريحة | A quantity bracket inside a product plan's price: the base price is tier 1 and higher tiers apply to larger quantities. |
